SITUATION:

Thousands of girls are placed on a waiting list to join the Girl Scouts of Suffolk County because of a shortage of adult volunteers to lead troops. The EGC Group partnered with Girl Scouts of Suffolk County to develop a strategic recruitment media strategy to address the shortage of volunteers.

ACTION:

The EGC team developed a prolific social media strategy, an eye-catching print campaign with slogan, “Support Our Troops” and an exciting TV and radio PSA featuring real Suffolk County Girl Scouts. EGC’s media partners also provided free air time to run the spots.

THE FINISH LINE:

The Girl Scouts of Suffolk County is truly a rewarding cause to support. EGC was glad to work pro-bono to help raise awareness of their worthy cause. The PSA was developed to help spread the word for Girl Scouts and move the needle for volunteer sign-ups.”
