STS Tire & Auto Centers, a northeast tire retailer and auto center with over 150 locations, asked EGC to build and leverage an enthusiastic online community.
Through listening and analytics, EGC identified that 90% of STS's customers were sports enthusiasts. Based on this knowledge, EGC dubbed STS online fans and followers "True Fans." EGC then leveraged partnerships with the NY Giants, Rutgers Scarlet Knights, St. Johns Red Storm, and Villanova Wildcats. By doing so, STS was able to offer exclusive sports content, experiences, and tickets to the True Fan community and their target market. To further build online engagement, EGC offered a sports-themed online game, trivia, and unique "challenges" and location specials to bring the True Fan back to their business.
EGC was able to double the number of online True Fans and increased engagement by 75%. For STS, this translated to a larger audience and more activated customers.
